Hotel Marie is located 200 m from the centre of Skagen, making it easy to explore the town’s shops, restaurants and sights on foot.
The nearest beach is only 800 m from the hotel – perfect for a short walk or a relaxing day by the water.
Yes, Hotel Marie is accessible. We have lifts and accessible rooms with special equipment. Please contact us at info@hotelmarie.dk for more information about accessible rooms.
Yes – free WiFi is available in all rooms and communal areas at Hotel Marie.
We accept Dankort, Visa and Mastercard. Please note that some cards may incur a fee – but never the Dankort. We reserve the right to pre‑authorize cards prior to arrival.
Check‑in: from 14 : 00 (high season: June, July, August and public holidays from 15 : 00).
Late arrival: Please inform the reception so we can arrange key pickup via key box.
Check‑out: No later than 11 : 00. If you’d like to arrive earlier, contact the reception and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Yes – we have private parking behind the hotel. Upon arrival you collect a parking permit at the reception, valid for your entire stay. Parking spots cannot be reserved in advance, but there is usually space for all guests.
Our breakfast buffet is served daily from 08 : 00 to 10 : 30 and is included in your stay. If you need to set off earlier, contact the reception and we’ll find a solution.The buffet includes a wide selection of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, coffee, tea and juice.
Yes – it is possible to pay in cash at the reception.
No – pets are not currently allowed at the hotel. However, changes are underway and we are actively working on making this a reality, so that hopefully next year we will also be able to welcome both you and your dog at Hotel Marie.
Yes – baby cots can be ordered via the reception. Contact us in advance to ensure availability.For children up to 2 years old the price is 165 DKK per child per night.
Yes – this is possible if you have booked a room where an extra bed is allowed. The price for an extra bed is 365 DKK per night per person.

No – we do not have fitness facilities at the hotel.
We offer bicycle rental to guests who wish to explore Skagen on two wheels. Rental price is 130 DKK for 24 hours. Please ask reception for availability.
Yes – we have both a bar and a lounge. Here you can relax with a glass of wine, a cold beer, cocktails or a hot cup of coffee.The setting is relaxed and cosy with soft furnishings and board games – perfect for enjoying the last afternoon hours after a lovely day in Skagen.
Yes – our private courtyard is a cosy oasis in the heart of Skagen. In summer you can enjoy live music and a good atmosphere.

Reception opening hours vary by season.
In the low season (October to April) the reception is open from 8 AM to 4 PM.
In the high season (May to September) the reception is open from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Yes – we offer disabled parking near the hotel entrance. Please contact the reception on arrival for assistance and information.
